The story behind it

Built by someone who hates bragging, but loves making people's day.

WhosThatPro started as a weekend side project and grew into a full product. No VC funding, no team of 30. Just a genuine belief that your professional reputation is way more impactful when others tell your story.

Solo-founded & powered by kindness

The origin

Bragging feels awkward. So I built a place where we can hype each other up.

I've been on both sides of the hiring process. When trying to stand out, listing my own achievements always felt uncomfortable. And as someone who's hired, I know that hearing 'they are a maker' from a peer hits much harder than saying 'I am a maker' about yourself.

The problem isn't that people don't want to say nice things about each other. It's that we rarely have the right space for it. Staring at a blank text box to write a formal endorsement is stressful. Nobody wants to do it.

So I built WhosThatPro - a structured, human-centric way to collect and share professional testimonials. Guided prompts eliminate the blank page. The result looks like a digital 'Freundebuch' - warm, honest, and actually readable.

The why ✨
"Self-praise feels awkward; peer-praise feels powerful. WhosThatPro exists to let us amplify each other."
— Christian, Founder

What we stand for

Four things that never change.

Human First

Every feature decision starts with one question: does this spread kindness? If it doesn't bring happiness or real value to people's careers, it doesn't ship.

Radical Simplicity

Writing a vouch should take under 90 seconds. Any friction we add is friction we've failed to remove.

Your Data, Your Rules

Every vouch you receive is private by default. Nothing goes public without your explicit approval. No exceptions.

Reciprocity as the Engine

Give a vouch, get a vouch. The whole product is designed around the warmth of returning a genuine favor.

The human behind it

Hi, I'm Christian.

Christian Bellu

Founder, Builder & Learner

I've spent 15 years in Product Management across hardware and software. Coding started out as a hobby, but my true passion is building products that help reshape corporate mindsets and team culture.

WhosThatPro is my attempt to bring more humanity into our careers. I design and build every part of it myself - from the AI vouch-refining flow to the typographic choices. It's a labor of love, and I treat it like one.

If you have a thought, a feature request, or just want to say hello - I genuinely read every message. Reach me at contact page.

The journey so far

Small steps, real progress.

Early 2025

The Idea Sparks

After reading yet another boring, jargon-filled CV full of 'I am...' statements, the title and idea for WhosThatPro are scribbled on a note and stuck to my fridge.

2
Mid 2025

First Vouch is Written

The closed MVP goes live. The first real vouch is submitted by a colleague. It's scrappy, but it works — and it feels genuinely warm.

Built for real people, by a real person.

There's no marketing team, no growth hacker, no investor deck. Every line of code, every copy choice, every design decision is made by one person who genuinely believes professional kindness deserves better tools. Thank you for being here.
